Problems
With Utilities?
If you are having problems with your
utility company, SEOLS can help. First,
however, you should check with your utility provider and other statewide
resources for solving utility problems.
For help locating information about your
specific provider, click here.
If you cannot resolve things with your
provider contact the Office of the Ohio
Consumers Counsel toll free at (877) 742-5622. Also try contacting the Public Utilities
Commission of Ohio
either though their website or by
calling them at (800) 686-7826.
If your problem is still not solved, contact our office to determine
eligibility for our services and complete an application.
Unable
to Pay Your Utility Bills?
If you have limited income and cannot
make your monthly utility payments, there are programs available to help. Ask your utility provider or inquire at your local social service agency about joining the PIPP
program, participating in HEAP, or any number of other assistance
programs.
