Expungement is the process by which you can request to have a criminal charge deleted from the public record.  You might want to do this so that prospective employers do not think you have a criminal record, or just to remove the public stigma of the charge. You can only expunge your record if there is a single charge, and even then only specific types of criminal charges can be expunged.  The packets below address the requirements in greater detail.
